The hotel is located near to Lyon train station and along the way and around the hotel there are many eateries. The room was small but kept very clean. (We dropped something under the bed and started shifting the furniture and we were pleasantly surprised that the areas under the beds were pretty clean! ) The hotel provided water and a small snack which are replenished daily. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. It may get a tad noisy at night due to the restaurants in the vicinity but we were not bothered. The lift is very small and may be tight for two person if you have huge luggage. We love the breakfast as they have a wide selection and the food is fresh. The breakfast team is very efficient to replenish the food and they are also very friendly. It is a very quaint hotel and they make the effort to make the whole place feels cozy and welcoming. We love the courtyard where you can have breakfast and the little lobby with a mock up fireplace. They also created their own map and directory of Lyon and listed them places of interest and nice restaurants. Monsieur Romain at the front desk is very friendly and we feel very welcome at the hotel especially after a long haul flight and train ride.

Very rarely will you find such a gem of a hotel and its staff. The staff was absolutely amazing throughout. I stayed in the hotel for six nights, and each day was mesmerizing. The staff went far and beyond to meet my requests, even helping me find the best places to visit Lyon and the best local restaurants to eat. For the amount I paid for six nights that included breakfast, this hotel is a steal deal. It's located in a lovely, quiet place in Lyon, close to the metro, bus stop, and restaurants. Laundry, shops, groceries, a massage parlor, a barber shop—you name it—are all a stone's throw away. On my departure day, the staff even prepared a cup of coffee for me as a farewell gesture. I've never felt so warmly greeted and welcomed. If I ever find myself back in Lyon, I wouldn't hesitate to stay in Edmond W again. I can't speak highly enough of it!

We really enjoyed our stay, even it was only for a night! The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was lovely - very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and with a kettle and coffee machine - the complimentary bottle of water and chocolate was appreciated. There's a lovely seating area next to reception, and you can also buy a glass of wine or beer. The area around the hotel is lovely, some great restaurants and bars and within easy walking distance of Part-Dieu station. The breakfast was superb.... self-service patisserie, breads, cakes, fruit, cold meats, cheeses, yogurts etc. There was also a choice of cooked food like eggs, sausages and ham. You could even squeeze your own orange juice! Everything was really good quality and plentiful. We'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location in Lyon. We had the family room (Triple with a double and single) and this was perfect. Excellent service and welcome from the staff. Decor was quirky which we loved and the rooms were very clean. Reception area was also great and we enjoyed a coffee and a glass of wine. Bedrooms were well equipped with a welcome addition of free items such as chocolates and crisps. The bathroom was also stocked with Rituals toiletries too. We decided to add on breakfast last minute and was very impressed by the quality and choice. Great option of street parking due to the time of weekend that we were visiting however a Q Park was also close by. Great location to walk to the centre of Lyon. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when we visit this city ,

This hotel understands the assignment. Located in central Lyon between multiple metro stops and train stations. Surrounded by food, shopping, and attractions. Clean, safe, walkable neighborhood. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Thoughtfully designed rooms with every little extra you can think of. Places to sit, places to lay things, places to hang things - even in the shower. Real glassware and a welcome snack. Automated window blinds and working A/C. A generous Breakfast spread included with proteins, an entire bread station, and Gluten Free options. Wine and Beer available for sale in the Lobby and a quiet, private, outdoor patio in a central courtyard for relaxing.
